Account Strategist

The Account Strategist reports directly to the Account Director. The Account Strategist works alongside the Accounts & Business Development team, to assist in the plans designed to reach company goals. This position will assist in improving profitability, while creating the best client experience possible.

  • 4+ years experience in an account manager role
  • Proficient with Apple iWork products, Pages and Keynote, and Excel
  • Technical background preferred
  • Sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for retention and growth of the existing client base through individual efforts
  • Expands existing client revenue targets by establishing strong, loyal relationships and staying in tune with client needs, challenges and business issues
  • Strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, loyalty and repeat business
  • Helps to define business strategies for the organization based on key competencies and client requirements
  • Handles large complex client accounts
  • Collaborate with internal staff to ensure client satisfaction
  • Collects and synthesizes client needs and researches solutions
  • Must engage in topical business matters and determine opportunities where digital technology can create appropriate solutions
  • Provides focused and reliable leadership to all aspects of a clients’ business

  • Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development
  • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings
  • Write proposals, documents and project briefs. Prepare presentation decks in Keynote
  • Responsible for revenue targets, project financials, proposal preparation & contract negotiation
  • Establishes and maintains good understanding of zu’s capabilities and services and can subsequently explain the business benefits and direct relevance of all services to the customer
