Staff Matters at Affinity
May 01, 2008
Affinity Credit Union and zu partnered to create a blog for Affinity CEO George Keter to effectively communicate with staff. The blog features a clean, user-friendly design and promotes easy, convenient online access.
The blog, which is only accessible to staff, provides an opportunity for Affinity employees to read weekly posts on a wide range of topics including human resource developments, retail operations and administrative changes.
“Following the merger between Affinity Credit Union, FirstSask Credit Union and Nokomis Credit Union, we were looking for a way to make dialogue between our CEO and employees effective, efficient and fun,” says Tina Merrifield, Corporate Communications Manager at Affinity Credit Union. “Our new blog fulfills this role perfectly.”
The blog provides a wealth of information such as a corporate video, up-to-date financial statements and a new corporate profile. Affinity also uses an Intranet provided by zu.
“We’re proud to have helped Affinity create a blog that promotes internal staff communication through a convenient online vehicle,” says zu CEO Ryan Lejbak.
